RAM

Antimicrobial resistance is one of the greatest challenges in modern medicine. The RAM Project is a collaborative platform that brings together researchers and institutions to map, understand, and combat this public health problem in different Brazilian contexts. Discover our strategies and results.

CMRP/Taxonline

The Paraná Network of Microbiological Collections (CMRP/Taxonline) is a center of excellence dedicated to the conservation of clinical and environmental strains. Uniting research institutions in Paraná, the network acts as a fundamental repository for Brazilian biodiversity, providing essential services for academic and biotechnological applications.

NAPITaxonline

Biological collections are the foundation of any biodiversity study. Founded in 2005, the Taxonline Network has evolved from nine initial collections into a robust New Innovation and Research Arrangement (NAPI). Today, we integrate 64 collections from 15 institutions in Paraná, preserving and making vital information about Brazil's genetic heritage available to the world.

UFAC

The INCT-CERBC has established a strategic cooperation agreement with the Federal University of Acre (UFAC) to promote agricultural sustainability in the Amazon. The project, funded by CNPq/MCTI, combines the genomic expertise of Paraná with the local needs of Acre, focusing on the development of bio-inputs and safe biological control for essential crops such as cocoa and cupuaçu.

Bioremediation

The proposed project involves the implementation of biotechnology-based strategies with the aim of mitigating the impacts of oil and accelerating its degradation. The application of taxonomic and functional metagenomics is employed to assess microbial biodegradation potential.

INCT-CERBC - COMMUNITY HEALTH

The Community Health project, linked to UNICENTRO, establishes an interdisciplinary front to promote health and well-being in vulnerable communities. Using a humanized approach, the project integrates students and professionals from various fields to carry out prevention, diagnosis, and health education activities. The primary focus is to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and local needs, developing practical actions ranging from basic hygiene guidance to monitoring specific groups, thereby strengthening the bond between the university and the local community.
